There are a wide variety of multi-disciplinary educational opportunities available in the hospital. It is not possible to list all opportunities. NCHDs should discuss with their consultants to identify other opportunities available for their specialty.

There is a Protected Bleep-free Teaching Policy in place. The Lead NCHDs are responsible for ensuring that this is monitored and advise management of any issues that arise in this regard. The policy is available here.
Online streaming is available for some educational sessions particularly for those specialties with rosters that preclude regular attendance during the normal working day.
